Currently lives and works in Melbourne, Australia. ‍ ‍

Working across painting, textiles and mixed media, my practice is rooted in the landscapes and creatures of my childhood on Yorta Yorta Country / Echuca — the owls, kingfishers, wrens, and eucalypts that inhabit the bushland — and now the walls of my home studio in Naarm / Melbourne.

My chosen materials and background in textile design remain central to how
I create; a way of connecting with feminine history and attending to the world long enough to feel the beauty in its strangeness.

My work asks questions rather than provides answers; about the mysteries of consciousness and where the natural world ends and the spiritual begins.
My intention is for viewers to encounter that same quality of awe one feels standing quietly among the gumtrees and birdsong, when the ordinary suddenly feels ancient and alive.
